In this episode, I share a few helpful ways that I’ve used AI in my workflow as a the sole, and a bit lonely, UX designer in a fast paced organization.

I discuss how I’ve used AI for work summarization, turning my daily notes into comprehensive weekly and monthly reports. This approach has proven invaluable for tracking my progress and communicating accomplishments in our fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. For this example, I used Notion and their AI tools.

I also demonstrate how AI can assist in user research, from script creation to data analysis. For the examples I talk about in this section, I used perplexity.ai

By utilizing AI tools to process interview transcripts, I was able to quickly identify key themes, pain points, and potential product improvements. This method significantly accelerated my research process while maintaining the necessary human oversight.

I emphasize the importance of using AI as a complement to human skills rather than a replacement. I stress the need for critical thinking and verification when working with AI-generated content. By sharing these practical examples, I hope to offer valuable insights into how AI can be effectively integrated into UX design workflows, potentially inspiring new ways for you to leverage this technology in your own work.
